Sick of paying those ridiculous prices for an over rated pumpkin flavored drink that’s probably made with some fake syrup instead of real pumpkin? I sure am. Which is why I came up with this simple, at home solution. It’s so much easier to make your coffee at home anyway. Delicious and cozy, the chai and pumpkin flavors will envelope you in a drink perfect for the Thanksgiving season.
Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte
6oz Chai Tea
1 table spoon of pure pumpkin – if you don’t have pumpkin, use Torani pumpkin spice syrup (works just as well if not better)
Optional: 1oz Amaretto Liqueur
Cinnamon and Whip cream for garnish
Brew your chai tea. If you are using a tea bag and like milk and sugar in your tea – make it to your personal preference, making sure to keep the mixture to 6oz. Once finished with that, pour into a blender with the table spoon of pumpkin. Blend for 30 seconds or until pumpkin is thoroughly incorporated. Pour into a mug and garnish with whip cream and a dash of cinnamon.
