Nothing screams holiday’s more than creamy delicious (and alcoholic) eggnog. Except maybe screaming kids, they can get pretty loud during the holiday. Eggnog has been around for a long time. Captain John Smith reported that eggnog was consumed in 1607 in Jamestown, Virginia. This delicious eggnog recipe is the perfect way to relax after the shopping is done (or almost done), and the kids are in bed. Curl up next to the fire in your snuggy, and sip on a little. Eggnog became big in America around the 18th century when it made its way across the Atlantic Ocean, though there is debate exactly when and where it originated. This particular recipe is made using Torani vanilla bean flavored syrup as well as a little rum. Torani has over 100 different flavors of syrup and many more delicious flavors with no sugar! They’re perfect to add to multitudinous amount of drinks – including coffees and cocktails alike.
Torani Vanilla EggNog:
1oz Torani Vanilla Bean Syrup
1oz Silver Rum
6oz Your favorite Egg Nog
Mix it all up in a mug, or your favorite egg nog glass – garnish with whip cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg. Curl up, and enjoy – you deserve it!
